Theme: Breaking Chains of Laziness
Message: Have you ever found yourself procrastinating, putting off important tasks or responsibilities, or just feeling unmotivated to work hard? Laziness can be a difficult habit to break, but with God’s help, we can overcome it and cultivate a spirit of diligence. In Proverbs 10:4, it says, “Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.” God desires for us to be good stewards of the time, talents, and resources He has given us, and to use them to bring glory to His name. As we seek His help to break the chains of laziness, let us remember that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength (Philippians 4:13).
Bible Verses: Proverbs 13:4 – “A sluggard’s appetite is never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied.” Proverbs 21:5 – “The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.” Colossians 3:23-24 – “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
