HUNGER FOR MORE OF GOD
Theme: The Desperate Heart Gets Heaven’s Attention
Key Scriptures: Matthew 5:6, Psalm 42:1–2
You cannot receive what you do not hunger for. The fire of revival does not fall on comfortable people it falls on desperate people. Throughout scripture, it was always the hungry ones who received the fullness: Hannah who wept for a child, Bartimaeus who cried louder when told to be quiet, the woman who pressed through the crowd just to touch the hem of His garment.
God is not moved by eloquence. He is moved by hunger. Today, make your desperation known before Heaven. Cry out for more more of His presence, more of His power, more of His Spirit.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.” — Matthew 5:6
PRAYER FOCUS
Lord, create a burning, unquenchable hunger for Your presence in my spirit. Let me never be satisfied with yesterday’s anointing again!
PRAYER POINTS
1. My Father, my Father! Create in me a holy desperation a hunger for Your presence that cannot be satisfied with anything less than You!
2. O Lord, destroy every spirit of spiritual complacency and lukewarmness that has settled over my life in Jesus’ name!
3. Holy Spirit, fan the flame of hunger in my heart — let me be like the deer that pants for water, panting for You!
4. Father, let this fast deepen my hunger rather than satisfy it make me more desperate for You at the end than at the beginning!
5. Lord, let the things that once satisfied my flesh lose their power over me let You alone become my greatest desire!
6. I declare that I will be filled! According to Your Word, those who hunger and thirst SHALL be filled let the filling begin now in Jesus’ name!
